WHY $1 A MONTH? WHY NOT $5, OR $10, OR.....
So if every person who paid a $1 a month to be a stakeholder paid $5, we'd get to our goal five times faster, right?
"Of course, you can be a site supporter for nothing!"
Yep - but $5 is alot of money if you haven't got much. And above all, we want talented people who haven't got much.... to give them more. Not as a charity but because they deserve it based on what they bring to the party.
In addition, we all know the truth: movies are pretty much a closed shop. Why make it harder for the sake of four dollars?
WE ARE SICK OF 'THE MESSAGE' INSTEAD OF 'THEMES' IN ENTERTAINMENT
Except straight, white males and the Irish.
Oh, okay.....EVERYBODY!!!!
Over time, there is a concerntration of talent in every industry - everyone knows everyone else. This is particularly bad in creative industries, where the 'new' is part of the appeal. An Oxbridge accent is less exotic when it's surrounded by other Oxbridge accents. We want every part of the world - high and low, rich and poor, respectable and disreputable, radical and reassuring.

Remember the key questions: what, why, which, when and how. Although, the questions may have to have a bit more detail added to them.

You know what we mean by 'serious'. Books that make your head hurt.

Sitcoms
Opportunities in film are thin on the ground if you have no money. How much can anyone realistically afford to break into the movie business? How about $1 (76p) a month? Would that do it?
We want to give commissions to stakeholders in this site, paying from $100 to hopefully $200, then $500 and - it will be great if we can get there - a $1000 commission once a month. If we have enough supporters maybe more than once a month!
These commissions will be paid to further the making of our first project - Dead and Breakfast, subsequent projects, short films and promotional projects.
The commissions will cover all aspects of the project; from promotional artwork to costume design to music for the soundtrack.
By becoming a stakeholder, you can help us complete our project and help yourself by winning one of our commissions, earning money and exhibiting your creative talents at the same time. If you cannot afford to become a stakeholder, you can still be a supporter with examples of (and links to) your work posted on the site for free.
